I've thought Cheney was scary for a long time. Now I know I was right to be nervous.

I would certainly say that politics in Washington has changed dramatically since 1980. It's gotten to be a nasty business with so much divisiveness. Ronald Reagan and Tip O'Neill could disagree totally on issues and then get together for a social event. We need to moderate on both sides.

There is no personal right to be armed for private purposes unrelated to the service in a well regulated militia.

Our main agenda is to have all guns banned of course. We must use whatever means possible. It doesn't matter if you have to distort facts or even lie. Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed.

I don't believe gun owners have rights.

It [the Brady Bill] is not a panacea. It's not going to stop crimes of passion or drug-related crime.

We must get rid of all the guns.
