Fighting cancer is my mission right now. The research and development of finding cures for this nasty disease is my passion.

I absolutely love being on stage. I live and breathe the stage, and nothing makes me happier, but to perform.

My creative process involves reading books and magazines, writing outside, and moving around a lot. I like to pace around when I'm writing songs.

I don't feel like I ever really do get past the nervousness. I'm always nervous. Something about being nervous keeps you on the edge, and I've always felt like I worked better under pressure.

I am passionate about making music that feeds the soul and brings people together.

When you're a background singer, you're there to support the artist. The transition is up to the person. You have to follow your heart. You make life decisions that will affect what you really want to do. You put that kind of energy out, and you put it out aggressively. And if you work hard, you'll pave the way.

It's always been my dream to be on the stage with my band, singing my music. That's always been, and always will be.
