An athletic scholarship shouldn’t be the best opportunity to receive a quality education.

I'm a GM in fantasy basketball and I'm a GM on PlayStation, so on PlayStation I probably would have got a little more, but this is real life, so I don't know.

If someone can learn from my experiences, grow from them and take it to the next level or to learn what not to do, that's almost a civil responsibility for your peers but also for those that follow you, support you and don't get a chance to come behind the curtain so to speak.

Nobody wants to be a bottom feeder and deal with the reality that you have one of the worst records, if not the worst record, in the league. Gone are the days in America where we're able to graduate from High School and perhaps eventually get a job that pays $100,000, that barrier has been put up. If you want to work at McDonald's, where is your degree?

When you're not winning it's about how you're not getting it done.

For me, Duke was personal. I hated Duke and I hated everything I felt Duke stood for. Schools like Duke didn’t recruit players like me. I felt like they only recruited players who were Uncle Toms.

The one thing about basketball is that it continues to evolve and I love it so much. It does so much for me in my life. I've played on every level and I've been fortunate enough to be around greatness on every level.

I don't mind being a professional. As an athlete you are a role model, people are watching what you wear, listening to everything you say.

You never get what you deserve only what you have the leverage to negotiate.

We don't know what's going to happen this summer or who's going to be here next year. We have no control over any of that. So, we're going to play our [22 remaining] games and do the best we can and show up for the New York Knick fans. That's the most important thing.
