Most nations have some type of creation story.

No matter what age we are, regress to a certain youthfulness with people we've known our whole lives, especially our parents. And since I've written the brothers as young people a lot - most notably Archer & Armstrong #0 and the upcoming Book of Death: Legends of the Geomancer #4 , it comes very naturally to me.

I came up in comics doing lots of DIY self-published stuff, producing my own books, handling all the details of creation and production. And theatre is something that's really attractive to me, as it's a similarly accessible form - it has a lot of the same sort of down-and dirty DIY spirit, where you can make a lot with a little.
