I more or less intended it (the farewell tour) to be for the United Kingdom and not so much over here, but everywhere I've worked, they've been aware this is my final tour ? my final year ? which in all likelihood is gonna be the case.

It ended up being a great quarter across the country. The national trend was more on the IT (information technology) side of things. When you look at Southern California and San Diego specifically, it's driven largely by the life sciences and biotech side of things.

The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

We need nearly every department, with the exception of police, fire and rescue, to look at what they can cut. Maybe there are some projects we need to put on hold.

It's something families could do together. They can be passed on from father to son, or father to daughter.

I don't believe that heaven waits for only those who congregate.
