I've never been one to look at numbers or think about stuff like that. The only numbers I worry about are wins and losses-that's always been my biggest priority.

Being the number one pick was a great opportunity and meant a lot to me.

There's no half-assing anything you do if you want to do it well.

I did a lot of bad stuff from the age of 18 to 21. Those are days when everyone is usually in college doing a lot of stupid things. But since I was playing baseball, I was in the spotlight. I take full responsibility for doing things that I shouldn't have been doing. And I appreciate the second chance that the Twins are giving me.

I need to be more under control. I need to calm down a little bit so I can cut down on the little silly errors I get.
