Most of all I like to sing my heart out to lyrics that really speak to people.

Be respectful to your peers and yourself, of course. Don't be a jerk. But at the same time don't settle for anything less than yourself.

Confidence is not 'they will like me'. Confidence instead is 'I'll be fine if they don't'.

I've seen too many celebrities fall from their morals, and I wanna come up under that and be THAT girl that doesn't need a scandal to make herself look better.

Be stupid, be dumb, be funny, if that's who you are. Don't try to be someone that society wants you to be, that's stupid. So be yourself.

I want longevity I love music, being a musician is the greatest gift in the world to me, and if I were to get signed to a label, my family and team around me are always gonna be there to make sure they want the very best for me. My fans are what it's all about.

If you can't find what's unique, people aren't going to listen.

Be different be unique be yourself.

My dad noticed some kind of talent on piano when he asked me to play a couple random songs on piano when I was 6 and I just did it. I attempted lessons but I was just so bad at reading notes. I would read Three Blind Mice by ear, so learning notes was almost impossible.

Youtube was the start of my career officially, although since I was 4 I've wanted to be a singer. I've performed here and there before youtube, but youtube push me much further.

But Stacie Orrico was my childhood hero. I was about 12 when I found her music. She is a contemporary Christian artist, and I can honestly tell you that I don't think I'd have a soulful voice if I didn't listen to Stacie. I wanted to sound just like her growing up, and to this day I STILL think I sound a little bit like her. But she is AMAZING!

Please, please, PLEASE be yourself. If you catch yourself not, take a step back.

I'm not perfect, but I believe my faith in Jesus Christ will really take me far in the world!

I only wish to climb even higher during the rest of my career bc with the power of Team Grimmie, I won't stop.

If It's your passion and you want to do it for the rest of your life, why would comments stop you from doing that?

People aren't born strong. people grow stronger little by little, encountering difficult situations learning not to run from them.

And hey, it's okay to laugh at yourself sometimes, I do dumb things all the time (haha). But when it get's too personal, get your tough skin on and stand firm.
